Position: Commercial Director
Location: North Oxfordshire (OX15)
Salary: £50,000 per annum (+ bonus)
Hours: Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:30)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a well-established business community based in North Oxfordshire, who are looking to recruit a passionate customer focused Commercial Director to lead the business growth and development over the coming years.

As Commercial Director, you will be solely responsible for the day to day management of the business, where you will lead a small team to support customers with all queries, viewings, sales and renewals, and ensuring that the centre runs smoothly day to day.

Additionally, as Commercial Director you will work closely with the owner to execute the brand vision, and drive the business forward to excel commercially, whilst growing as a pillar of the local business community with truly excellent service at the forefront. The successful candidate will also be directly involved in developing a robust marketing strategy to help attract and retain clients.

As Commercial Director, you will ensure that client satisfaction is maintained by working hard to build strong and transparent working relationships. Additionally, you will also run events and manage the advertising for the business centre. You will attend regular local business networking events, where you will bring in potential clients to let business space.

The successful Commercial Director will be passionate about supporting the growth of local businesses but also be very organised and be able to manage a very heavy workload.

Requirements

• Experience of excelling within a service focused commercial management role
• A genuine love of helping small businesses to grow
• Able to manage a heavy workload
• A strong understanding of finances and experience of reporting on P&L
• Strong literacy skills with the ability to write at a corporate level
• Be highly organised and have great attention to detail
• Experience of developing people
