Position: Part-Time Retail Sales Consultant
Location: London (SW16)
Salary: £20,800 – £26,000 FTE (plus a generous bonus scheme)
Hours: 20 (hours to be worked flexibly, with the requirement to work up to 37.5 hours per week on occasion)

The Opportunity:
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-known and respected global client, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant, to join their team based within an ultra-high end London Department Store.
As Retail Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for communicating with customers within the showroom environment. Our client’s products are often quite technical, so the successful Retail Sales Consultant must be able to absorb information, carry out product demonstrations, and ultimately close the sale.
As Retail Sales Consultant, you must be confident, knowledgeable and personable when meeting customers, ensuring that each customer receives an impeccable customer experience. You will occasionally have the opportunity to communicate with customers via telephone and email, so it is essential customer service is in line with the premium reputation of our client’s brand.
Whilst this is a customer-focused sales role, it is vital that the successful Retail Sales Consultant is commercially driven to hit individual sales targets.

Requirements:
Experience of selling a premium product (or a comparable sales role)
Experience working directly with customers within a retail environment
Excellent face to face communication and telephone manner
Commercially driven to achieve and exceed sales targets
A genuine desire to offer customer service excellence and build outstanding product knowledge
