Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Witney (OX28)
Salary: up to £32,000 base per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (flexible between the hours of 07:30 – 17:00)
Experience: Maintenance, Handywork, Carpentry, Repair, Fitting, Lifting, Customer Service, Problem-solving 

The Opportunity:  

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-established property business with offices in Witney to recruit a confident and organised Maintenance Technician to join their existing team of 3. 

 On a day-to-day basis, this role will involve working through a list of maintenance jobs within a number of Oxfordshire-based properties, carrying out the assembly and repair of furniture and home fixtures, transporting equipment between sites, maintaining outdoor spaces, reporting back to managers on the upkeep of properties and all other associated duties. 

 As this is a very hands-on role, Thompson & Terry Recruitment’s client are looking for a candidate who has experience using common tools, a general understanding of property maintenance and carpentry, and the ability to work autonomously.

Requirements 

• Experience of working in a hands-on environment and using tools 
• Highly motivated to take ownership of the role and work on own initiative 

• Confident communicating with customers and their wider team to understand key priorities 
• Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is essential
