The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with Adventure Plus, a Christian Youthwork & Outdoor Education Charity, who are looking for a Business and Finance Manager to join their organisation.
As Business and Finance Manager, your main role will be finance management and it would be your responsibility to manage all finance-related activities ranging from payroll to budgeting and everything in between!
This job would be well-suited to candidates who have previous experience within a management-focused finance role as you will be working closely with the Executive Director and Board to form strategic plans for the future as the Adventure Plus site is currently going through a really exciting development phase!
It would also be desirable for the person fulfilling this role to be a committed Christian who shares alignment with Adventure Plus’ vision and values.
The Company
Adventure Plus, founded by Jon and Tessa Cox in 1990, provides adventure holidays, school residentials, DofE expeditions, Team Building and a host of other exciting events to inspire and encourage young people (and adults) in Oxfordshire and across the UK.
The business/charity are passionate about helping people get active, push themselves and learn more about who they are and what they are capable of – all within the bigger perspective of the Christian faith, which is at the heart of what they do.
Requirements
Extensive finance/accounts experience obtained either within the working environment or through education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely organised with great attention to detail is a must
A commitment to the Christian faith
