Position: Commercial Insurance Consultant
Location: Kidlington (OX5)
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 17:00)

The Opportunity:

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a reputable independent insurance brokerage who are seeking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Commercial Insurance professional to join their small Kidlington-based team.

Whilst solid sales experience of course desirable, the successful Commercial Insurance Consultant will consider their key strength to be in relationship management as opposed to hard-hitting sales.

Additionally, our client is really proactive within the Oxfordshire market. As such, all of their business comes through recommendation and networking as opposed to cold-calling.

Fundamentally, it’s important that the successful Commercial Insurance Consultant is personable, enthusiastic and ambitious with experience in excelling within a similar role.

Requirements:

• Experience of working within Insurance, with a track record of excelling in both sales and client retention
• A demonstrated interest in networking and the ability to build a relationships with other businesses
• A Cert CII qualification or the willingness to study for one (funded by the company)
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to provide a seamless customer service
