Thompson & Terry Recruitment are excited to be working with our friends and longstanding IT Support client who, as part of their growth, are looking for an intelligent and ambitious IT Support Engineer to join their friendly team based in Eynsham.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for answering tickets and the telephone in a friendly way, logging issues, providing diagnosis and troubleshooting, whilst taking ownership of all support requests that come through to ensure complete client satisfaction.
This role is well suited to a candidate with solid 1st Line IT Support experience who is looking to develop their 2nd Line IT Support knowledge, or for a candidate looking to continue their career in 2nd Line IT Support within a supportive business known for their training and career progression.
The role has real scope to grow and our client has such a track record for training and developing passionate IT candidates over many years. The ideal candidate will have a huge appetite to learn and obtain funded qualifications, a genuine LOVE for all things tech/IT, the ability to understand complex issues, and ultimately gain enjoyment from finding resolutions for customers and clients.

Experience of excelling in an IT Support/Service Desk environment
The ability and desire to understand or learn about complex IT issues with the view to provide a solution to every client
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
Genuine passion for IT support and ambitious to really learn, obtain qualifications and progress to build a long-term career within the business
Due to their relatively remote office, the successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driving license or live locally
