Position: Junior Business Development Manager

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 basic (+ commission)
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday with early finish on Friday)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a fantastic IT solutions provider, who are looking to recruit an ambitious and confident Junior Business Development Manager, to join their rapidly expanding team based in Kidlington.

As Junior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business sales appointments for a close-knit team of Account Managers, by making targeted cold calls to businesses across the UK.

Whilst sales experience isn’t required, as Junior Business Development Manager, you should be hungry and driven to exceed your targets but you should also be motivated to learn more about IT and the sales process and progress into an Account Manager position.

This role is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious, driven and intelligent candidate who is looking for a route into sales within a company that provide a genuine career path into Account Management, with a lucrative commission structure.

Our client are a national IT solutions provider in the UK, who due to expansion are looking to recruit a hungry Junior Business Development Manager to join their very experienced and successful sales team, who mainly joined at this junior level.

Our client support a really impressive and varied client base nationally, ranging from huge clients such as the NHS to small independent SME’s.

The office environment is fantastic, and made up of a small close-knit team, who are all really driven to make money and help each other grow but also enjoy a joke, therefore, would be suited to a candidate with a big personality.
