Position: Marketing Executive
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Witney (OX28) with hybrid working opportunities
Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 17:00)

The Opportunity  

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a multi-award-winning high-end horticultural design business based in Witney who are looking to recruit a creative and forward-thinking Marketing Executive to join their friendly team. 

As Marketing Executive, you will work closely alongside the existing team of designers and the Sales and Marketing Director to deliver the marketing strategy with the goal of growing the number of enquiries coming through various marketing channels whilst building fantastic experience working within a small business. 

The role of Marketing Executive is varied so you will be responsible for creating content and copywriting, managing and posting on social media platforms, creating a monthly newsletter, taking photographs at site and trade show visits, overseeing SEO and AdWords, and developing creative ways to improve our clients overall marketing. 

Whilst our client are looking to recruit a candidate who is confident to throw themselves in, you will be supported with a strong network both internally and externally in the form of specialist support, training and development.    

The successful Marketing Executive must be a real team player and willing to wear ‘many hats’ and support colleagues, especially the Client Care Manager, who you will work very closely with.

Requirements 

• Well educated with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal  
• Prior knowledge of marketing, whether this be through the workplace or education 
• Ambitious, dynamic and creative with a genuine desire to build your skill set and grow with the company 
• An interest in horticultural design and garden design 
• Really flexible to wear many hats, as you would in any small business
