Position: Product Support Assistant
Location: Leeds (LS16)
Salary: £17,500 – £18,000 per annum + bonus
Hours: 08.45am – 17.15pm (and an early finish on a Friday)

The Opportunity
Our market-leading and rapidly-expanding client is looking for an enthusiastic and intelligent Product Support Assistant with experience of succeeding within a customer-focused role.
As Product Support Assistant, you will be responsible for liaising with customers via the telephone about our client’s motor-based technology products. You will be required to explain how to use the product and solve any queries or complaints that they may have, as well as being regularly responsible for liaising with our client’s external IT provider to solve and record any technological issues. You will, therefore, need to be organised, efficient and able to quickly problem-solve whilst ensuring that exceptional levels of customer service are provided at all times.
Additionally, the successful Product Support Assistant will also be required to occasionally make outbound calls to customers in order to up-sell products when necessary. You must, therefore, be confident over the telephone and have a natural ability to build a rapport with others.
Occasionally, as Product Support Assistant, you will be required to travel nationally to meet with clients and customers and help to explain and support their needs directly. Therefore, whilst it’s critical that your telephone skills are strong, you must also show that you are confident in building relationships in person.

Requirements
A strong academic background
A full UK driving licence and own car
Experience of excelling within a customer-focused, telephone-based position
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Enthusiastic and ambitious to build and progress your career
