Position: Recruitment Consultant
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (OTE with a strong basic salary)
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (Monday – Friday with an early finish on a Friday)

The Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic and intelligent Recruitment Consultant with serious drive and ambition to join our Abingdon based team.

As Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for providing a 180 recruitment service; sourcing CVs, calling candidates, pitching potential job opportunities, interviewing and submitting candidates, and negotiating job offers.

You will therefore need to be confident and driven to make placements, whilst ensuring that both the client and candidate are fully satisfied throughout the entire recruitment process. You will have a real desire to exceed your targets, build your career with Thompson & Terry, and make a difference in a smaller company where you are able to facilitate real change.

Requirements

• Experience of succeeding within a recruitment or similar target-driven role
• Goal-orientated and money-motivated with the determination to exceed targets
• A strong academic background
• A full UK driving licence with your own car
• Willingness to attend networking events outside of working hours
• A genuine interest in being a long-term part of the growth and development of our business
• Confident and friendly, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients alike
