Position: Sales Consultant (6 month FTC with the potential to go permanent)
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: £20,400 – £25,500 (plus a generous bonus scheme)

Hours: 22.5 (some flexibility but additional hours will be required at times – Monday – Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays)

The Opportunity:

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well known and respected global client, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Consultant, to join their Abingdon based team.

As Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls and emails from retail customers. The calls tend to be very varied therefore the successful candidate must be able to absorb information about often a technical product and ultimately be able to close the sale, whilst adhering to our client’s premium reputation.

Additionally, as Sales Consultant, you will occasionally have the opportunity to communicate with customers face to face, within the showroom. Therefore, you must be confident, knowledgeable and personable when meeting customers.

Whilst this is an inbound customer-focused sales role, it is vital that the successful Sales Consultant will be commercially driven to hit individual sales targets.

Requirements:

• Experience of selling a premium product (or a comparable sales role)
• Excellent telephone manner and face to face communication
• Commercially driven to achieve and exceed sales targets
• A genuine desire to offer customer service excellence and build outstanding product knowledge
