Position: Senior Customer Operations Advisor
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 16:30, 10:00 – 18:30 and 11:30 – 20:00 alternating weeks), with 1 in 8 weekends (10:00 – 17:00)

The Opportunity:
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-known and respected UK national client, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Customer Operations Advisor to join their evolving and rapidly expanding Abingdon based team.
As Senior Customer Operations Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Customer Operations Advisors with any challenging calls as an escalation point, therefore it is vital the successful candidate holds experience of being calm and professionally dealing with customer complaints.
Whilst this is a more senior position, the successful candidate will also be hands on in managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails from customers and resolving any issues (EG: technical faults with products etc).
Our client’s product is technical and ever evolving therefore the successful Senior Customer Operations Advisor needs to be comfortable to learn to become an expert in order to be able to offer basic technical support to customers over the phone, whilst also being the point of escalation for any customer service issues.
Whilst this is not officially a management role, as a Senior Customer Operations Advisor the successful candidate will work closely with the Team Leader to onboard and train new starters and day to day support of the advisors, therefore it could be a really good route for candidates looking to make the transition into people management.
