Position: Social Media Assistant (part-time)
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 pro-rata
Hours: 21 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a well established  Abingdon based charity, who are looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Assistant into their marketing team.

As Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for day to day management of the charity’s social media accounts, and working with the team to implement and develop their social media strategy.

The role of Social Media Assistant will be very hands-on and responsible for producing all social media content by creating engaging campaigns, which includes creating and editing all images and videos for the social media pages and ensuring that you effectively promote their work.

The successful Social Media Assistant will be creative, innovative and passionate about the charity’s work. You will also be organised and have great attention to detail, ensuring that charity stays up to date on current trends.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (you will be required to occasionally travel)
• Creative and enthusiastic, with experience creating engaging social media campaigns
• Experience producing strong social media content
• Excellent written communication skills
• Passionate about supporting charity work and a genuine desire to make a difference
• Strong organisational skills
