Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (+ bonus)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment is working with an innovative, ambitious and expanding business who are skilled in solving cyber security breaches and prioritising the digital safety of their clients.

They are looking to recruit an intelligent and driven Systems Engineer into their Faringdon based team.

As Systems Engineer, you will have an in-depth technical knowledge, particularly with regards to cyber security. You will be required to learn our client’s products and processes in great detail and then have the intuition to be able to advise clients and co-workers on the intricacies and benefits of these products.

The successful Systems Engineer will have significant technical experience with the aptitude to quickly learn and advice on technical products. You must also hold excellent communication skills and be confident to present at end-user events and carry out web demonstrations.

Additionally, the Systems Engineer will be proactive and innovative, making sure to continually stay up-to-date with relevant technological advancements and act on these accordingly.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in a technical role, either pre-sales or customer-facing
• A natural ability to build client relationships – over the telephone, video call and face to face
• Innovative, proactive and able to efficiently problem-solve
• Knowledge of cyber security is desirable
• A demonstrated interest in technology, ideally in SaaS/Cloud-based technology
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
