Position: Technical Support Advisor
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: £25,000 per annum (+ bonus)
Hours: 37.5 hours worked over a 5 day week (shifts between the hours of 08:00 – 20:00 Monday – Friday) and 3 weekend dates in every 7/8 weekends (10:00 to 17:00)

The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-known and nationally respected UK client, who are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Support Advisor to join their evolving and rapidly expanding Abingdon based team.
As Technical Support Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, lives chats and emails to customers requiring assistance with their technical products.
The nature of our client’s product being technical and ever evolving means that the successful Technical Support Advisor needs to be able to diagnose and get to the root of technical issues remotely with customers whilst also being comfortable resolving the issue in an easy to understand manner. The successful candidate must also be able to absorb information, and confidently go above and beyond to offer customer service excellence to resolve the query and will become an expert in our client’s products and offerings.
This Technical Support Advisor job is very well suited to candidates looking for a route into an office environment who are keen to progress within a helpdesk/service desk environment long-term.
