Position: Trainee Sales Consultant 
Salary: £25,000 per annum (+ commission and clothing allowance)
Location: Oxford (OX2)
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 Monday – Saturday (5 days per week) with the requirement to attend events outside these hours

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a luxury clothing brand who create bespoke pieces for their clients. As a result of high demand, they are seeking to recruit a candidate who is passionate about clothing, fashion and indeed building relationships through offering an amazing level of service.

As every item of clothing is designed and made to order, it is important that the successful candidate genuinely enjoys getting to know every client and makes them feel completely comfortable from the initial conversation, when taking measurements right through to the point of creating the perfect piece.

Whilst our client has an amazing reputation for their level of service and many of their clients are long-standing, it is important that the successful candidate is hungry and driven to generate new business via various forms of proactive networking.

As a ‘Trainee’ you will receive a really thorough induction with ongoing training to really learn the role from the ground up starting with placing orders, measuring clients, keeping the showroom tidy and making lots of coffee, as you grow into an expert within your field.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence, as you will regularly visit clients
• A genuine LOVE for clothes and all things fashion with the desire to work with clients to create the perfect piece for them
• A strong relationship builder, who is confident to win new business and proactively network
• Very well-presented, articulate and confident engaging with high-net-worth individuals
• Genuinely looking to build a long-term career within our client, rather than just a job
