Position: Transport Administrator
Location: Abingdon (OX14) 
Salary: £23,500 – £25,000 per annum 
Hours: Monday to Friday (with the opportunity to work from home upto 2 days per week)

The Opportunity  

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a highly regarded global business, who are looking to recruit an intelligent Transport Administrator to join their growing Abingdon based team.   

As Transport Administrator, your main responsibility is to provide highly accurate administrative support to the team and wider business, liaising with centres across the UK to ensure that the delivery of specialist equipment is handled accurately and efficiently. 

Whilst the role will be varied, typical duties could include booking fuel cards, raising purchase orders, completing customs and shipping documentation, arranging the collection and delivery of equipment nationally, and general administration to support the team. 

In summary our client are looking for a bright and highly organised administrator, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career rather than just a job!

Requirements  

• Experience of excelling in an administrative focused job, preferably within transport or equipment hire 
• A strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Technically minded with the desire to learn   
• Strong time management with the ability meet deadlines
