Position: Recruitment and Marketing Executive 
Location: Abingdon (with a large proportion of home working) 
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum 
Hours: Monday – Friday (Flexible working pattern with the ambition to move to a 4 day week during 2022)

The Opportunity 

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and proactive Recruitment and Marketing Executive to join our small and friendly team. This is a very varied role, where you will gain valuable experience in all parts of our business, with a particular focus on the recruitment and marketing side to really drive this forward over the coming months and years. 

As part of this role, you will also get involved in administration, business planning, sales, events and financial administration and it is therefore, a really unique opportunity to expand your skillset and learn first-hand about everything required to successfully run a business. 

Due to the varied nature of this role, the successful candidate must be motivated and ambitious to learn about all aspects of the job, whilst having a specific interest in sourcing and placing candidates across a range of roles and implementing the marketing strategy on a day-to-day basis. 

As our Junior Recruitment and Marketing Manager is due to go on maternity leave in June, this is a great opportunity to quickly step up to cover many of her current duties and supporting the wider business – however, this role is a permanent position with a genuine career path outlined in our exciting business growth plan!

 Requirements  

• A track record of excelling within a value driven recruitment environment (In-House or Agency) and the desire to continue to develop professionally 
• Experience and/or a genuine interest in marketing and driven to improve your skillset over the coming months and years
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• A genuine interest in the wider business and in building a long-term career with Thompson & Terry Recruitment in line with our strong company values
