The Opportunity:
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-established and growing e-commerce business, who as a result of the previous person being promoted, are looking to recruit an confident, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Customer Service Advisor to join their busy head office team based in Abingdon.
As Senior Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of B2B and B2C customer enquiries whilst handling the administration around customer orders, resolving escalated cases and supporting other areas of the wider business. The day-to-day duties will primarily involve answering emails and live chats across a number of platforms, but also telephone calls in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment but as the role will be varied, the successful candidate must be able to absorb information, and confidently go above and beyond to offer customer service excellence.
Thompson & Terry Recruitment’s client offers over 750 unique products therefore the successful Senior Customer Service Advisor must be comfortable becoming an expert, have a great attention to detail and work closely alongside the warehouse team in order to ensure that all daily operations related to customer orders are running smoothly.

Requirements:
Experience of offering customer service excellence in an office environment
A strong desire to build outstanding product knowledge and a great attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner as well as fantastic verbal and written communication and numerical skills
Previous experience working within e-commerce would be desirable but not essential as thorough training will be provided
