Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a fast growing and well established e-commerce business, who are looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join their busy team based in Abingdon.
As Customer Service Administrator, it will be your responsibility to handle the day-to-day administration surrounding B2B and B2C customer orders made through a number of major UK e-commerce sites. This will include responding to emails, live chats and telephone calls in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment to answer customer enquiries surrounding existing orders, product stock levels, and also to handle aftersales enquiries surrounding faulty items and processing returns.
Thompson & Terry Recruitment’s client offers over 750 unique products and work to a number of strict SLAs across multiple platforms therefore this would be a great opportunity for the successful Customer Service Administrator to throw themselves into a super detail-focused role and build on existing attention to detail skills.
This Customer Service Administrator role would be well suited to candidates who are quick to learn with fantastic written and numerical skills, committed to taking on the role long-term with the view to progress within the business, but also with existing experience working in a fast-paced customer service focused position whether that be office based or perhaps retail or hospitality.

Experience of offering customer service excellence whether that be in an office environment or perhaps through retail or hospitality
A strong desire to build outstanding product knowledge and a great attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner as well as fantastic verbal and written communication and numerical skills
Previous experience working within an e-commerce environment would be desirable but not essential as thorough training will be provided
The ability to work autonomously
The successful candidate should hold a full UK Driving License or live locally
