Position: Marketplace Assistant
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 base per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 to 17:30)

The Opportunity:  

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working alongside a well-established e-commerce business, who are looking to recruit a detail-focused Marketplace Assistant to join their head office team based in Abingdon and support the day-to-day management of their online stores. 

As Marketplace Assistant, you will work closely alongside the Head of Marketplace to upload and maintain listings of over 750 products and 2,500 bundles across a number of major UK e-commerce sites. Day-to-day duties will include creating content for product listings, monitoring price changes and adjusting accordingly, maintaining online stores and ensuring that product listings are accurate alongside assisting the Head of Marketplace with all other related duties. 

This Marketplace Assistant job is very well suited to candidates with existing experience working within the e-commerce industry, who are passionate and detail-focused and are looking for a job where they can take on responsibility and get involved with all aspects of the product journey.

Requirements:  

• A strong desire to build outstanding product knowledge and previous experience of working within an e-commerce environment 
• Fantastic attention to detail  
• The ability to communicate both written and verbally across a number of levels  
• Excellent numerical skills and experience working on Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets would be desirable
