The 2023 LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise list: How can we help?
In case you missed it… this week LinkedIn posted their 2023 “Jobs on the Rise” list revealing the 25 fastest-growing job titles in the UK and the trends that have been defining the world of work.
Whether you’re currently in the market for a new role or are just looking to keep up to date with arguably the most popular employment-focused social media platform there is, paying attention to studies like this can be invaluable in helping to identify what skills are in demand and preparing for the future of work.
Using 5 years’ worth of data collected from the site, LinkedIn found that job titles such as “Customer Success Consultant”, “Sales Development Representative” and “Business Development Representative” (to name a few) all placed within the top 10 emerging job titles in 2023.
So… how can we help?
As an independent Abingdon-based recruitment agency, here at Thompson & Terry Recruitment we place a focus on sourcing and placing candidates within sales, customer service, administrative and general office-based positions both across Oxfordshire and nationally – all of which were found to be growing in popularity over the past five years.
We are also working on an Inside Sales Executive vacancy within an award-winning technical business who are looking for 0 – 2 years of previous sales experience and with this LinkedIn study finding that people with this job title or similar often have 2.4 years of previous experience before landing this role, what better time to join a business who will invest in your development for years to come?
Now set goals and take action!
If you are feeling uneasy about the future of work, this LinkedIn study provides great insight into which new skills you should learn in order to stay up to date with the current employment market. Plus, they’re offering a range of LinkedIn Learning courses relevant to these popular and fast-growing job titles for FREE until January 25th so I would definitely recommend taking action and spending some time to expand on your skillset… I know that I will be!
Setting goals can be difficult, especially in a career sense, but by exploring studies such as this by LinkedIn it becomes easier to gain insight into the experience you need to obtain therefore making it possible to set out a plan and create a path leading forward.
Also, if you’re looking for help and guidance on how to move forward with your career and land one of these desirable roles (or maybe something not mentioned by LinkedIn), we have some useful guides on our website!
