Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working witha registered international development charity with committed teams based across the globe who arelooking to recruit a passionate and people-focused Global Service Delivery Manager to join their management team and work closely with their Global Operations Manager.
As Global Service Delivery Manager, a big part of your job will be to work closely alongside overseas hubs to manage the experience of UK students volunteering to support local communities. This role will involve working with the existing Global Operations Manager to oversee volunteering programme delivery, budgeting and distribution, and the recruitment of both local and overseas staff alongside other duties associated with the overall running of the charity.
As the charity’s sole focus is international development, it is essential that the successful candidate has a passion for making a difference globally in areas such as health & education, climate change, and gender equality and previous experience working in overseas communities.
In addition to the day-to-day duties required, the Global Service Delivery Manager will also be responsible for regularly visiting overseas hubs to see first-hand what is happening on the ground. Therefore, it is really important that the successful candidate is able to spend large amounts of time travelling overseas and can engage with individuals and groups in a passionate and inspiring way.

Previous experience of working within overseas communities, with people from different cultures or experience in international development work
The ability to manage own diary and be flexible to adapt and adjust to situations due to time differences between overseas hubs
Due to the nature of the role, willingness to regularly travel overseas is absolutely essential
