Position: Graduate Business Executive 
Location: Abingdon (hybrid working) 
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum 
Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 18:00)

The Opportunity  

We are looking for an ambitious recent graduate to join our small and friendly team. This is a varied graduate program where you will gain valuable experience in all parts of our business including administration, business planning, sales, PA duties to our Managing Director, events, financial administration and marketing. This is, therefore, a really unique opportunity to expand your skillset, your practical experience and learn first-hand about everything required to successfully run a business. 

This position will predominantly be based from our modern offices in Abingdon, however once you are comfortable in the role, we offer hybrid working.  

• Recruitment– Learning how to source CV’s, interview candidates, pitch jobs to candidates, submit to clients for consideration 
• PA Duties – Working closely alongside the team and in particular supporting our MD in a ‘PA’ capacity, diary and inbox management 
• Administration – Responsible for writing job descriptions, advertising jobs, writing interview confirmations and general office administration 
• Events – We are closely linked to an Events company within Oxfordshire, so you will be responsible for supporting, planning and often hosting these events 
• Business – Working closely with the MD around the planning and implementation of the growth strategy for the business, regularly updating the business plan, and creating clear and defined goals focused on business growth 
• Finance – Day-to-day management of the accountancy software (Xero), general bookkeeping and financial duties with the support of the MD and an external accountant 
• Sales – Taking an active involvement in talking to candidates, pitching jobs and attending regular networking events and client meetings 
• Marketing – Responsible for day-to-day management of all social media channels, creating content for our website, external websites, radio and podcasts. As well as working closely with our Marketing Manager to assist in the planning of marketing strategies, both offline and online

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)

• Strong and proven communication skills, both written and verbal
